Junior Road and Drainage Designer (for projects in Sweden)

Job Summary
Design and engineer highways, roads, and streets, including 3D modeling, quantity calculations, and drawing preparation. Work across all planning stages from feasibility studies to detailed design and as-built documentation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in Sweden on diverse projects involving earthworks, technical specifications, and bill of quantities. Requires a Civil Engineering degree, 4–7 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Civil 3D or Novapoint. This role supports AFRY's Global Transportation & Places division, contributing to sustainable infrastructure solutions in the Nordics and Central Europe.
Required Qualifications
- A Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in design of highways, roads and streets
- Good written and verbal English language (CEFR minimum level B1)
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Novapoint
- A good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office
- Employment based on an employment contract
- Available office locations for this position are either in Poznań, Kraków or Łódź
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of working abroad, especially projects in the Nordics
- Experience of working with the Swedish Transport Administration
