Job Summary
Review draft property condition reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards, verifying observations, quantities, and supporting documentation. Check that deficiencies and repair recommendations are properly described, validate building system descriptions, and edit reports for grammar and formatting consistency. Coordinate with field inspectors to resolve unclear information, track revisions, and maintain organized digital files while assisting with quality control workflows and process improvements. This role supports the Facility Condition Assessment and Asset Management team in a structured, analytical environment with guidance from Professional Engineers.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, building maintenance, facilities management, property management, physical inspections, or quality control
- Basic understanding of building systems and components (roofing, HVAC, structure, interiors, site)
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, file management, and document editing
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a structured workflow
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hybrid work schedule (combination of in-office and remote work)
- Computer-based work with minimal to no travel required
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality deliverables
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable to evolving project needs
- Ability to look ahead and manage timelines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience reviewing technical reports, construction documents, or inspection data
- Familiarity with property condition assessments (PCA) or similar reporting processes
- Exposure to ASTM E2018-08 "Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments: Baseline Property Condition Assessment Process"
