Job Summary
Junior Retail Planner supports OTB and budgeting/forecast planning, lead open-to-buy reviews, forecast sales, monitor buy execution, manage auto-replenishment SKUs and inventory optimization, produce weekly/monthly performance reports, and collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandise, Inventory Planning, IT, and Finance teams to align on min/max targets and OTB assumptions. The role involves analyzing KPIs, building ad-hoc templates, and handling ad-hoc requests to drive department strategies, with responsibilities spanning forecasting, replenishment, and inventory management supported by strong retail math and Excel skills and the use of Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics Workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-3 years of merchandise planning or related experience with direct open-to-buy experience strongly preferred
- Advanced competency in retail math and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics Workspace a plus
