Job Summary
Junior Resource Geologist to contribute to resource evaluation, geological modelling, and NI 43-101 compliant resource reporting. Primary responsibilities include geological modelling and resource estimation support, data validation and database management, resource reporting and reconciliations, and helping to support mine planning and operations while upholding SEH standards and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- BSc in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related field
- MSc in Geology (preferred and advantageous)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Resource Geology, OR Minimum 5 years in production geology preferred
- Underground experience is an advantage
- Technical Competencies: Leapfrog Edge, Deswik, Datamine
- Understanding of geostatistical and classical statistical methods
- Understanding of resource estimation methods
- Knowledge of QA/QC protocols in mining and exploration
