Job Summary
Review, filter, and pre-screen field and entry-level applications daily, conducting initial phone screenings to assess experience, qualifications, availability, compensation, and location requirements. Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, career fairs, and community partnerships to build and maintain active pipelines for general labor, skilled field, and entry-level roles across multiple divisions. Partner with the Recruitment Manager and hiring managers to prioritize recruiting efforts, present qualified candidate pools, and follow up on interview feedback and selections. Maintain accurate candidate statuses within the applicant tracking system and assist with recruitment workshops and new hire orientation as needed. This hands-on, fast-paced position requires bilingual Spanish/English fluency and the ability to travel to events.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool or Equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a proactive self-starter, problem solver, and effective team player
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
- Proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements in a positive and constructive manner
- Bilingual in Spanish/ English (Fluent)
- Able to walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, squat and climb
- Able to travel to career fairs and recruitment events
- Able to wear required personal protective equipment
- Able to see, talk and hear in person, via phone and/or through online/video
- Able to use hands and fingers in a manner that allows for use of a keyboard and phone
- Able to lift & carry items up to 15 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1–3 years of recruiting, & staffing support experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines, and manage time and priorities effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a focus on error prevention
- Ability to identify and meet customers' expectations and requirements
- Construction industry recruiting experience
- Experience with high-volume field or skilled-trades recruiting
- Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, career fairs, referrals, and other recruiting channels
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
