Junior Rangers Leader - Fall After School Program

On-site Junior Rangers Leader for TK-12 expanded learning programs, responsible for creating a safe, inclusive learning environment and leading age-appropriate activities for up to 10 participants. Duties include developing and delivering engaging activities aligned with social-emotional learning and core program goals, monitoring attendance, building positive relationships with participants and staff, coordinating with the Site Coordinator and Community Liaison, planning culminating events, ensuring safety and emergency preparedness, and supporting optional field trips and staff trainings. Requires strong communication, teamwork, and ability to train and supervise youth in an outdoor setting; position may involve day camps, sleepaway camps, or both. Training at the Woodcraft Rangers office in Little Tokyo and at school sites; flexible schedule with evenings/weekends as needed.
