Job Summary
Evaluate first-run production and product development test samples by inspecting merchandise, performing XRF analysis on components and finished goods, and scanning diamonds in first production items. Participate in the first production approval process, including documentation, analysis, and communication of evaluation results. Provide feedback and approvals during PD test product reviews while assisting in sample selection and coordinating transitions to the sample library. Maintain accurate inventory and support other projects as needed. Work in the Lyndhurst, NJ office Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3+ years jewelry experience
- Experienced working as part of a Team
- Knowledge of jewelry inspection process
- Attention to detail with ability to work on long-term and short-term projects, including the ability to inspect merchandise for corrective action purposes as required
- Strong organizational and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- In office Monday through Friday 8:00a-5:30p EST (occasional Saturday needs)
Desired Qualifications
- GIA or similar gemology certification
- Bachelor's degree in related field
