Job Summary
Junior QA Engineer to help define quality for a low-code internal platform. Responsibilities include writing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases for a drag-and-drop application builder; identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs with clear steps; collaborating with frontend engineers to catch issues early; helping build regression test suites as features evolve; contributing to QA processes and documentation, and participating in sprint planning to understand what’s being shipped and what needs coverage. Core skills include QA methodologies, test case development, functional/regression/integration/exploratory testing, Agile/Scrum, and familiarity with Jira/Azure DevOps; automation experience with Playwright/Cypress/Selenium and scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python is a plus. The role emphasizes ownership of quality, thinking from the user perspective, and shaping QA practices from the ground up in a small-team, rapidly evolving environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred)
- 0–2 years QA or software testing experience (internship or project work counts)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Clear written communication (bug reports)
- AI tools useful but not required for engineers to function without it
