Junior QA Engineer

Job Summary
Support multiple projects across production and staging environments by testing mobile and desktop web applications, verifying configurations, and troubleshooting live issues. Create and execute test plans, collaborate with developers to resolve defects tracked in JIRA, and assist with integrations and UAT processes. Maintain test environments including servers, microservices, and databases while participating in sprints to ensure development goals are met. Report and track bugs, perform basic network troubleshooting, and support major releases. This role requires 1+ years of QA experience, SQL knowledge, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
Required Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and initiative skills
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English
- Have basic knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Can perform basic network troubleshooting, including SSH tools
- Understand Agile/Scrum development processes
- Are familiar with monolithic and microservices architectures
- Have practical experience with tools such as TestRail, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Grafana, Cursor AI, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL Developer, Kafka UI, Redis, JIRA, Atlassian, Git, Postman, and Browser DevTools
- 1+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Practical experience testing web applications
- Hands-on knowledge and practical use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) for: Prompt crafting - designing clear, effective instructions for AI systems; AI-assisted test design - generating test cases, edge scenarios, and synthetic data; Intelligent troubleshooting - analyzing logs and diagnosing production issues with AI support; Critical validation - ensuring AI outputs are accurate, reliable, and aligned with real-world requirements
Desired Qualifications
