Junior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and SpecFlow (BDD) in C#. Collaborate with developers and QA team members to design effective test strategies for UI and API layers. Execute and monitor automated test pipelines in GitHub Actions, ensuring timely reporting and debugging of issues. Integrate test results with BrowserStack for cross-browser and device compatibility testing. Perform API testing using Postman/Bruno and contribute to performance and security testing using JMeter and OWASP ZAP. Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Communicate test results via test outcome reports.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in QA automation or software testing
- Proficiency with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
- Familiarity with Postman/Bruno for API testing
- Exposure to CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions
- Understanding of cross-browser testing using BrowserStack
- Basic knowledge of performance and security testing tools like JMeter and OWASP ZAP
- Ability to leverage modern AI tools to improve productivity (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
- Nice to have: experience in financial-services-grade applications and platforms
