Job Summary
Junior Project Manager to support multidisciplinary mining and environmental projects across Western and Northern Canada. Key duties include coordinating project teams and workstreams, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality commitments are met, supporting budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting and invoicing, maintaining client relationships with clear progress updates, promoting health, safety, and quality aligned with WSP standards, and partnering with senior leaders to strengthen governance and delivery excellence. Candidates should bring 3–5 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent), and familiarity with project management fundamentals, financial tracking, and communication. PMP is considered an asset; experience with Oracle is an asset; mining/environmental/regulatory project experience is advantageous; PMI PMP designation is an asset. Flexible work location within Canada; compensation varies by region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of experience supporting or coordinating projects within consulting, engineering, environmental, or mining-related environments
- Working knowledge of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, budget, risk)
- Experience supporting project financials, schedules, and technical deliverables in a professional services environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to project management systems is an asset
