Junior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Job Summary
Support Project Managers across all phases of commercial construction projects; coordinate preconstruction activities, procurement, bidding, and subcontractor outreach; manage job setup, including site logistics, equipment, containers, dumpsters, and material deliveries; obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes while helping drive purchasing decisions; track project budgets, schedules, documentation, and project milestones; partner with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on schedule; assist with the coordination and installation of specialty equipment and unique project components across multiple locations; serve as a key communication hub between the office, field teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders; work primarily from the office (80%) while conducting occasional site visits to support project execution and gain field experience; continuously develop project management skills while taking on increasing responsibility and ownership
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction OR 1–2 years of experience as a Junior Project Manager
- Commercial construction experience required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and advance within a construction management career path
