Job Summary
Junior Project Engineer needed to support E-J's engineering team in designing and modeling electrical systems using Autodesk Revit. Responsibilities include modeling electrical equipment, conduits, and support systems for prefab/install drawings, reviewing schematics and plans for NEC and local code compliance, training in Revit and related software, assisting senior engineers with contract review and 3D modeling, attending meetings with clients, architects, engineers and other trades, and contributing to reporting and documentation to improve project profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or experience in Electrical Construction
- Experience with Autodesk Revit or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of National Electric Code and local building codes
- 1-3 years of experience or internship in related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic Autodesk products
