Junior Project Controls Estimator

Job Summary
As a Junior Project Controls Estimator, you will support the estimation process for electrical infrastructure projects, collaborating with the Project Controls team and other stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing project scope and cost data, preparing documentation related to cost estimates, assisting with risk analysis, and contributing to improvement of estimation methodologies. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, strong analytical skills, proficiency in estimation and project management software, and excellent communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in project controls, estimating, or a similar role within the construction industry
Desired Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze project data
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as Excel, estimating software, and project management software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Understanding of construction processes and terminology
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
