Job Summary
Junior Project Accountant within Downer Rail and Transit Systems’ Queensland Train Manufacturing Program; responsible for building positive stakeholder relationships, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information, providing financial analysis to assess profitability, and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, and pursuit of CPA/CA/CFA; expects extensive finance/accounting experience including project accounting, budgeting and forecasting, ERP experience (e.g., JDEGS), and strong Excel; collaborative team player in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience
- Currently completing or willing to complete a CPA/CA/CFA
- Extensive experience in finance and accounting roles, including project accounting, analysis, budgeting & forecasting
- Previous experience in project accounting within a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience with JDEGS or large ERP system and strong Excel capability
