Junior Production Planner

Job Summary
Develop weekly production line schedules for assigned departments based on the master schedule plan, including rework, unfinished parts, and special orders. Prepare support materials such as route sheets, shop packets, and shipping documents while entering requirements into the computer system. Manage plant inventory levels by ordering correct quantities, tracking storage space, and initiating physical counts to ensure parts are secured for production. Assist in establishing communication with customers, sales, and internal departments to monitor orders from start to finish. Make or recommend revisions to production schedules when necessary, directing supervisors on personnel utilization and keeping them informed of unresolved issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of production control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
- Must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Baldwin, WI plant
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree in supply chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience creating reports and performing data analysis using Oracle or other ERP systems
- Basic coding or report building experience
