Job Summary
Junior Procurement Specialist at ABB focused on end-to-end PR to PO for direct/indirect procurement in SAP within the EUOPC. Responsibilities include monitoring open purchase orders, coordinating Goods Receipts, supporting invoice processing and payment resolution, creating and maintaining procurement performance reports, maintaining SAP master data, and supporting SAP Ariba activities. Requires strong Excel skills, customer-focused mindset, effective stakeholder collaboration, and English (German optional). Hybrid work model (8 office days per month) with emphasis on supplier communication, cost, quality, and delivery issues, plus participation in training to ensure compliance and professional development. Required Qualifications
- Experience in operational procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Enhanced knowledge of SAP; hands-on experience with SAP Ariba is a strong advantage
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort with procurement data, reporting, and process tracking
- Proactive, flexible, solution-oriented approach; strong communication and attention to detail
- Business English (B2/C1); German (B2/C1) considered a strong asset
