Job Summary
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors while negotiating contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to secure the best possible deals. Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand procurement needs, develop strategies to fulfill them, and analyze market trends for informed purchasing decisions. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for procurement projects, ensuring all materials and equipment meet required specifications through coordinated quality inspections. Manage contracts and prepare documentation, applying basic knowledge of logistics operations and mandatory engineering material specifications. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering and 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within a UAE manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment in UAE
- Basic knowledge in logistics operations and documentation
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of engineering materials and specifications
- Self-learning and proactiveness
- Contracts preparation and management
