Junior Process Engineer

Job Summary
Junior Process Engineer responsible for evaluating process alternatives and equipment/technology selection; analyzing existing equipment operational data to improve throughput and cost; collaborating with a cross-discipline team to plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering work; interfacing with the client’s project team to produce technical and commercial documents/presentations; and traveling to client sites as needed. Requires a recent or soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science and Engineering and 0-2 years of experience. The role offers mentorship, exposure to challenging projects in the downstream metals processing space, and opportunities for growth within Hatch’s engineering team. Location is Pittsburgh, PA, with on-site work expectations.
Required Qualifications
- A recent or soon to be graduate with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science and Engineering
- 0-2 years of engineering experience
