Job Summary
Junior Pre-Event Trader (General Sports) responsible for compiling odds manually and via automated feeds, conducting risk management across Volleyball, Handball, E-Sports, Water Polo and UK Sports, profiling customers and optimizing pre-event margins. Develop and manage data-driven analytical tools for odds creation, monitor competitors’ offers, and contribute to a comprehensive, industry-leading sports offering. Requires strong numerical and analytical skills, advanced MS Excel, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; located in Athens, Greece. The role emphasizes data analysis, odds compilation, risk management, and tool development to enhance trading performance and competitiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Working Experience in a relevant position is nice to have
- Enthusiastic about Handball/Volleyball/E-Sports/UK Sports with a strong interest in and knowledge
- Good understanding of sports odds
- Great attention to detail and good analytical and numerical skills
- A sports enthusiast with a strong data and customer-focused mindset
- Able to cope with a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Strong computer skills with advanced MS Excel skills
- Possess a can-do attitude and be a team player
- Flexible to work on shift rotation 24/7
- BSc in Mathematics / Physics / Engineering / Economics
