Job Summary
Conduct local and regional customer deliveries by safely operating a company vehicle, loading/unloading materials, and obtaining customer signatures. Support warehouse operations by receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials; picking, packaging, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Coordinate courier and freight shipments, generate shipping documentation, and safely operate forklifts. Represent Vytal professionally during customer visits, build relationships, and identify sales opportunities while assisting with basic product inquiries. Work alongside senior sales representatives to develop technical knowledge and skills. This entry-level role offers a structured development path through mentorship, transitioning toward managing customer accounts and driving territory growth in the Grande Prairie region.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Must be insurable under the Company's commercial auto insurance policy
- Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Experience loading and securing materials for transport
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and shipping systems)
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, shipping, or distribution operations (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
