Job Summary
Junior Oracle Database Administrator at InfraCore supporting management, maintenance, and monitoring of Oracle databases in production and non-production environments. Under supervision, assist with archiving/partitioning, backup, recovery, DR configurations, security, patching, upgrades, and root-cause analysis; monitor performance and availability; support DR switchover/failback and deployments with DevOps; contribute to technical documentation and runbooks; collaborate with infrastructure, application teams, and cross-functional groups to identify risks and learn hands-on skills for HA/mission-critical environments.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Oracle database administration (including internships, academic projects, or related coursework)
- Foundational knowledge of Oracle administration concepts such as archiving, partitioning, backup and recovery
- Awareness of disaster recovery and high-availability concepts, with willingness to develop hands-on skills
- Good collaboration and communication skills, with a strong willingness to learn
- Interest in working within high-availability, mission-critical environments under guidance
