Job Summary
Junior Operations Associate to own end-to-end daily market operations, monitor live markets, resolve events, maintain data feeds and operational docs, conduct structured research on markets/competitors, ensure quality across event listings and research references, identify inefficiencies and implement improvements, collaborate with product/engineering/research, and support growth of protocol infrastructure. Growth potential into senior operations, research, or strategy roles. Strong emphasis on operational excellence, data-driven decision making, and documentation. Familiarity with onchain mechanics, DeFi primitives, and data tools is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years professional experience in operations, research, fintech, crypto, or a related field
- Working knowledge of market microstructure, onchain trading mechanics, or financial markets
- Strong analytical skills, able to structure ambiguous problems and arrive at independent, well-reasoned conclusions
- Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of accurate, high-quality work
- Strong written communication skills for documentation, reports, and stakeholder updates
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and operate with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with data or AI tools (Notion, Sheets, SQL, Python)
- Genuine interest in DeFi, event-based markets, and emerging financial primitives
- Journalism/news background or financial markets background
- Nice to Have: Direct experience with prediction markets, event derivatives, or onchain protocols
- Nice to Have: Background in quantitative research, trading operations, or market-making
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with smart contracts, token mechanics, or DeFi primitives
- Nice to Have: Experience building or improving operational systems and tooling
