Junior Nurse Aide | Spearfish Medical/Surgical | As Needed

Junior Nurse Aide provides patient-focused care as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities include assisting nursing staff with personal care and hygiene, bathing, admission/discharge/transfer processes, and contributing to the documentation of patient data. The role may involve monitoring patients at the bedside or via audio/visual telesitter technology to promote safety and privacy. On-the-job training and ongoing support help develop skills to deliver safe, effective care across departments such as Medical/Surgical, Intermediate Care, Oncology, ICU, Pediatrics, NICU, Labor and Delivery, and Home/Hospice care. Aids in maintaining patient comfort, independence, and dignity while collaborating with colleagues to support cohesive care planning and patient outcomes. Essential functions include accurate documentation and active participation in patient care planning, with emphasis on teamwork and adapting to a variety of clinical settings. Physical requirements include medium to light exertion as needed. Starts at an hourly pay rate ranging from $18.20 to $20.92, determined by knowledge, skills, and experience.
