Job Summary
Junior Network Engineer to support Army operations in Oahu, Hawaii with partially remote work. Responsibilities include designing, evaluating, and supporting local and wide area networks, intranets, and data communications; researching and recommending network hardware/software; providing documentation and project-management support for global network infrastructure delivery; conducting site surveys; representing architecture development initiatives in meetings and briefings; and producing technical analyses and white papers. Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations expected. Requires active secret clearance and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a science field, plus CCNP Security or IAT Level III certification. Some travel can be expected.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- 3-7 years experience in design and computer network architecture and data communication networks (LAN/WAN/intranets/extranets)
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or in a Science related field
- Cisco certification of CCNP Security or IAT Level III (CASP+CE, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
