Job Summary
Junior Motion GEOINT Specialist responsible for applying motion GEOINT tradecraft to analyze geospatial information and produce actionable intelligence. Responsibilities include producing GEOINT products that meet NGA standards, preparing intelligence reports, displays, and briefings with visual aids, maintaining geospatial databases, and applying geospatial tools to analyze intelligence issues and military affairs. Requires collaboration with national or service intelligence agencies, familiarity with NGA data sources (NTM, PAN, SAR), capability in geolocation and mensuration, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Must hold or be eligible for TS/SCI with CI polygraph and be willing to undergo an Extended-Scope Polygraph (ESP) or Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP). Location: NGA Campus East, Springfield, VA (US). Salary around $55,000.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant GEOINT experience
- A relevant degree may supplement experience
- Proven expertise in Motion GEOINT tradecraft and analysis
- Proficiency with common Motion GEOINT software applications
- Experience collaborating with national or service intelligence agencies/centers
- Ability to prepare, maintain, and present intelligence reports, displays, and briefings, including the use of visual aids
- Knowledge of NGA standards and quality requirements for GEOINT products
- Familiarity with NGA digital data sources (NTM, PAN, SAR, etc.)
- Capable of geolocation and mensuration
- Experience creating, updating, and managing geospatial databases and products
- Ability to analyze intelligence issues and military affairs, applying geospatial tools to produce actionable reports and solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of intelligence organizations, collection and reporting systems, sources, and analytic methods
- Clearance TS/SCI with CI polygraph
- Willingness to undergo Extended-Scope Polygraph (ESP) or Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) examination
