Job Summary
Junior/Mid Legal Counsel role across a fast-growth healthtech startup, with exposure to commercial contracting, data privacy, regulatory affairs, and capital raising. Responsible for drafting/negotiating SaaS and healthcare provider contracts, advising on technology, privacy, health regulation, and employment issues, supporting regulatory submissions and DPIAs/PIAs, and assisting with global expansion and financing activities. Requires ability to work across jurisdictions (AU/CA/US) and to communicate complex legal concepts to technical and product teams. Travel may be required; strongly preferred interest in AI/digital health and scalable tech environments. Flexible hybrid work with international scope and a strong emphasis on proactive, business-friendly legal advice, governance, and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- A qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Australia, Canada, or the United States with 1–4 years of post-qualification experience.
