Job Summary
Design and develop new functionality for Schibsted Account and the Non-Behavioral Consent Management Platform, focusing on login and privacy solutions that prioritize seamless user experiences without compromising security. Own and maintain product infrastructure in AWS, collaborating with stakeholders to suggest improvements that enhance maintainability within the existing architecture. Support daily operations while gradually taking greater ownership of production systems as you grow. This hybrid role in Kraków combines remote work with an average of two days per week in the office.
Required Qualifications
- Around 1-2 years of experience in software development
- Experience with and knowledge of JVM languages, particularly Kotlin or Java
- Experience designing and building services in a cloud environment such as AWS
- Good collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, share knowledge and take increasing ownership of the solutions you work on
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing, building or operating large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with DynamoDB or another NoSQL database
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or another relational database
- Experience with Docker, Terraform, AWS or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of authentication standards such as OAuth and OpenID
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and queues such as SNS and SQS
