Job Summary
Junior MEP Engineer at Arcadis GEC Romania (Iași) responsible for designing, calculations, sketches, 3D modeling, and final working drawings under supervision; develop proficiency in REVIT and other design software; ensure work aligns with budget and schedule; prepare reports and presentations for senior engineers; follow company standards; produce needed drawings across project phases; focus on HVAC/building services with strong attention to quality checks, safety, and adherence to norms; collaborate within a team and communicate effectively; leverage BIM, CAD, and related software to drive automation and digital-lean initiatives; opportunity to grow professionally within an international design and consultancy firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in building services
- Good knowledge of design software (e.g. AutoCAD) and calculation software, specifically for each discipline
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in HVAC engineering
- Strong English language skills
- Eager to learn new capabilities and skills
- Good understanding of norms and standards related to HVAC
- Candidate to show problem solving skills, creativity, proactivity and analytical skills
- Good planning, organizational, and communication skills
- To show interest in personal and professional growth, in a challenging, rewarding, and competitive professional environment
- To be able to perform his/her own quality check and to be conscious around safety in design principles
