Job Summary
Hands-on AI Engineer role focused on designing, developing and improving AI solutions and products. You will work on platforms such as VisionAI and Aurora, use modern AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, LangChain), and translate technical possibilities into scalable applications. You’ll explore, test and implement new AI technologies, build prototypes, and help integrate AI solutions into production systems. Collaboration with developers and other engineers is key to raising the technical AI level within Yellowtail. Requires a master’s degree in a technical field and 0–2 years of relevant experience, with strong Python skills and familiarity with Azure cloud. The role emphasizes building rather than solely advising, and offers a path to contribute to products, frameworks and applications used in real deployments. Location is Naarden, Netherlands with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, mathematics, or informatics)
- Experience with Python and AI/ML packages (LangChain or PyTorch)
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure)
- Strong communication in Dutch and English
- Curiosity about new technologies and drive for continuous development
- Understanding of both software and infrastructure
- 0-2 years experience in AI, ML, or software development
