Job Summary
Junior Management Accountant responsible for supporting the Finance Controller with accounting, reporting, and financial administration. Key duties include maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions in the accounting system, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, completing reconciliations (bank and credit card), supporting payroll processing, aiding month-end and year-end close, preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, assisting budgeting/forecasting, handling BAS/payroll tax/income tax documentation, ensuring compliance with financial policies and U.S. GAAP where applicable, maintaining organized records, liaising with internal stakeholders to provide timely financial support, and offering general administrative support to the Finance Manager. Requires a university degree in accounting/finance, at least 3 years in finance/accounting, experience with accrual accounting and monthly reporting, exposure to AP/AR/payroll/reconciliations, BAS/payroll/income tax knowledge, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus. Required Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
- Experience with accrual accounting and monthly reporting processes
- Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Understanding of BAS, payroll tax, and income tax support processes
- Strong understanding of financial principles and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
