Job Summary
Junior Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving plant utility systems; plan, organize and execute maintenance tasks, install new or existing equipment, and coordinate parts with vendors, OEMs and contractors. Read equipment manuals and schematics, diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and adjust equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities in the CMMS. Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure safety, quality, and environmental procedures are followed; shift is 2nd (7PM–7AM). Based in Indianapolis, IN with in-person on-site work.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- completed vocational school Industrial Maintenance program or two years experience in Industrial Maintenance
- experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems
- forklift operation
- ability to read English
- ability to multi-task
- detail oriented
- problem solving skills
