Junior Logistics Officer (Refined Products Coordination & Freight)

Junior Logistics Officer at Bunge in Rotterdam, NL, supports coordination of transport flows across Europe within the Commercial Logistics team. You will help manage a very large network of carriers and contribute to moving a substantial volume of liquid bulk throughout Europe. The role combines operational coordination, administration, and commercial interaction with carriers and traders. Responsibilities include managing and executing spot transport requests, updating freight rates and lanes, supporting transport forecasting and capacity planning, ensuring accurate administrative processing of logistics data, monitoring transport flows, and building long-term carrier relationships. You will engage with internal stakeholders such as Trade and Operations, participate in carrier-quotation evaluation, and gradually take more ownership in carrier selection and pricing discussions. Travel within Europe (2–3 days per month) to visit carriers and develop market understanding. Requires an MBO+/HBO degree (preferably in Logistics or related field), 0–3 years of experience in logistics, fluent English (additional European language a plus), and strong communication, detail orientation, and a proactive learning mindset.
