Junior Legal Counsel

Junior Legal Counsel responsible for supporting the execution of HSPG’s real estate transactions, managing a wide range of transactional and operational legal matters (loan drawdowns, acquisitions, disposals, leasing) and providing practical legal guidance to enable commercial decision-making. The role is hands-on, requiring ownership, coordination across internal teams and external lawyers, and proactive management of timelines. Key focus areas include streamlining legal processes, research and drafting, and facilitating efficient deal execution to align with strategy. Requires strong UK real estate experience, ability to work in a hybrid London-based setting, and clear communication with stakeholders. 90-day wins emphasize delivering one property acquisition and one financing drawdown to completion, and driving process improvements (including AI integration). 12-month expectations include expanding the number of acquisitions/drawdowns and maintaining relationships with panel firms.
