Job Summary
Entry-level Laboratory Technician for the Construction Materials Testing Lab. Responsible for performing laboratory tests on soils and construction materials (e.g., concrete, asphalt, masonry) in accordance with applicable testing standards/methods, reporting results per ASTM requirements, maintaining and verifying laboratory equipment, and performing duties as assigned. Training will be provided; candidate should be motivated to develop technical skills and pursue ACI concrete testing certifications within six months. Strong math and communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Technical knowledge/understanding in laboratory testing of construction materials
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to obtain ACI Lab Concrete Testing Certifications within 6 months of hire
