Job Summary
Junior Java Developer for a Silicon Valley–based IT staffing and professional services firm focused on Web, Cloud & Mobility. Responsibilities center on developing and maintaining Java-based solutions, including Spring Framework, Hibernate, AWS, JUnit tests, and front-end work (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery). Requires solid understanding of web/mobile architectures (MVC), database design (SQL, MySQL), and familiarity with Agile practices, server administration, and multimedia processing. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of software development experience, with hands-on experience across Java, Spring, Hibernate, AWS, and related web technologies. Location is Philadelphia, PA, in-person; eligible for contract engagements; candidates must be eligible to work in the US (GC/Citizen, OPT, EAD, W2).
