Job Summary
Junior IT Systems Administrator who will be the boots-on-the-ground IT resource for Austin/Pflugerville and San Antonio locations. Owns Level 1–2 helpdesk tickets, on-site hardware/network tasks, and acts as the on-site liaison with the MSP Partner, supporting Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, Intune/device enrollment, and IT projects across multiple Texas sites. Responsibilities include on-site field support, ticket triage and routing, hardware imaging and deployment, network troubleshooting, MSP coordination, and cross-brand IT initiatives. Travel bi-weekly to the San Antonio APS office and occasional travel to Allen, TX for events and project work. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills are essential, with a focus on physical presence at sites and a fast-paced IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent demonstrated experience
- 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience in a corporate, multi-site, or MSP environment
- Experience supporting Windows-based environments with Microsoft 365
- Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) support and admin
- Networking basics (VPN, Tailscale, Cloudflare DNS, DHCP, firewall)
- Hardware: workstation build/image/deploy, printer/peripheral setup
- Familiarity with endpoint management concepts (Intune/MDM a plus)
- Experience with IT helpdesk/ticketing systems
- Remote desktop and remote support tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable vehicle; bi-weekly travel to San Antonio
