Job Summary
Manage server, storage, network, and IT security areas while handling smaller customer projects and migrations such as server setup or mail migrations. Conduct patch installations and updates for third-party software on servers, and design and maintain all services of a Windows network. Select, procure, install, and document IT systems according to customer orders, and contact customers for error analysis and remote troubleshooting. Requires a completed Fachinformatiker Systemintegration training, knowledge of network technologies and Windows Server services, and experience with virtualization tools like VMware or Hyper-V. Offers a flat hierarchy, short decision paths, and extensive onboarding within a highly motivated team.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker Systemintegration oder eines vergleichbaren Ausbildungsgangs
- Kenntnisse in Netzwerktechnologien (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN), sowie Serverdiensten wie DHCP und DNS
- Erste Erfahrungen in größeren IT-Umgebungen mit den gängigen Windows Server- und Clientbetriebssystemen
Desired Qualifications
- Idealerweise Kenntnisse in Virtualisierungstechnologien von VMware und/oder Hyper-V
