Job Summary
Provide day-to-day hardware and software support for POS systems, terminal screens, payment readers, and receipt printers across Denver International Airport locations. Assist with basic POS menu updates, user account maintenance, and routine system configurations while training restaurant staff on basic operations. Log and resolve IT help desk requests, perform diagnostics on network connectivity and desktop workstations, and escalate complex issues to senior staff or vendors. Maintain an organized inventory of IT assets, follow PCI-compliance standards, and document troubleshooting steps and equipment configurations. Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule for urgent operational issues and work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7/365 airport operations.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical customer service
- Hospitality or Retail background
- Associate degree in Information Technology
- Equivalent technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+)
- Equivalent hands-on experience
- Basic exposure to or experience using Point of Sale systems (Aloha, Clover, Heartland, or similar systems)
- Strong foundational troubleshooting skills
- Customer-service mindset
- Ability to explain technical instructions clearly to non-technical store employees and managers
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Participation in a rotating on-call support schedule
- Must be able to successfully pass a 10-year TSA-mandated background check and drug screening
- Eligible to work in the USA
- Ability to walk long distances within the airport terminals
- Ability to carry/lift IT equipment up to 45 lbs
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Aloha POS systems and/or basic POS database entry
- Prior experience working in an airport, restaurant, or fast-paced retail environment
