Junior IT Specialist

Job Summary
Junior IT Specialist responsible for general IT and desktop support across locations via helpdesk, diagnosing and troubleshooting Mac and Windows systems, providing network/VPN support, managing user access and offboarding, overseeing asset and endpoint management, coordinating with third-party vendors for hardware repairs, and supporting endpoint security standards (2FA, antivirus, firewall). Will lead IT project-related tasks and propose infrastructure improvements. Requires 2-3 years of IT experience, strong knowledge of Mac/Windows OS, cloud apps, networking fundamentals, Okta/OAuth/Azure AD, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, MS Office, and solid analytical and communication skills. Flexible work options include hybrid arrangement in Baguio and permanent remote work outside Baguio; onboarding/offboarding activities and security compliance are part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional IT experience
- Strong technical knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems
- Expertise in managing Cloud applications
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and support experience (connectivity, VPN)
- Familiar with OKTA, OAuth, Azure AD
- Familiar with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, MS Office
- Strong analytical skills and communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Asset and Endpoint Management experience
- Experience with endpoint security standards (2FA, antivirus, firewall)
- Ability to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues across Mac & Windows devices
- Support for helpdesk, email, and chat channels
- Experience with IT projects and infrastructure improvements
- Vendor coordination for hardware repairs
- Understanding of access controls and data security
