Junior IT Networker

Job Summary
Set up, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers for new and existing users while troubleshooting internet connectivity and application-related issues. Provide first-level support for Windows-based systems and Microsoft applications, assist in maintaining network infrastructure including routers and switches, and install software updates and patches. Maintain IT documentation and support users via in-person, phone, or remote assistance. This full-time role requires Monday through Friday hours with a Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred and minimum two years of IT support experience. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Norwood, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science degree preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in an IT support or networking role (or equivalent education)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Position is full-time working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, additional hours as needed
