Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day IT operations, project tasks, and asset management while enforcing policies, meeting SLAs, and providing onsite and remote assistance for new construction and acquisitions. Manage OEM IT projects by gathering requirements, developing work plans, tracking milestones, and coordinating with external parties to ensure on-time delivery. Create and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks on the GRC platform, and conduct annual audits. Assist with vendor research, negotiate pricing, and process invoices to maintain accurate inventory of assets and software licensing. This staff-level role offers a growth path toward managerial responsibilities for an independent individual demonstrating initiative. Based in Des Plaines, IL, the position requires onsite work and local/out-of-state travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree
- 3 years of proven direct experience in IT operations, dev-ops, or support
- Exceptional documentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated intermediate level Microsoft Office proficiency
- CAPM with IT specialization
- Proven success leading the delivery of complex IT projects into production environment
- Effective direct technical expertise with IT infrastructure, application support/development, and cloud technologies
- Valid driver's license
- Can work independently and demonstrate powerful sense of initiative
- Travel is required to local and out-of-state locations
- Candidate must be able to work onsite
