Job Summary
Review and analyze IT systems, processes, and data to identify compliance risks, then develop and implement policies to mitigate those issues. Monitor adherence to regulations including HIPAA, SOC2, ISO: 27001, and HITRUST while conducting regular audits and investigations. Collaborate with departments to ensure internal policy alignment, maintain accurate documentation records, and communicate updates to management and stakeholders regarding compliance efforts. Stay current on regulatory changes to adjust procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Cloud resources, processes, and data
- Good understanding of Cloud governance principles and tools used to manage the governance (Azure/AWS)
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as HIPAA, SOC2, ISO: 27001, and HITRUST
- Understanding of the requirements of these regulations and standards
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to analyze and evaluate IT systems, processes, and data to identify compliance risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders to provide updates on compliance efforts and to obtain feedback on compliance policies and procedures
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to maintain compliance documentation and records in an organized and accurate manner
- Project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects

- Ability to adapt to changes in regulations and standards and update policies and procedures as needed
