Junior IT Asset Management Technician

Job Summary

Conduct daily IT asset management operations including receiving, inventorying, issuing, relocating, and disposing of government-owned equipment while maintaining accurate records in ServiceNow. Perform physical inventories, reconcile stock, manage asset tagging and barcode systems, and ensure accountability across the full asset lifecycle. Handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, operate pallet jacks, and work in warehouse and office environments. Requires U.S. citizenship with High Public Trust clearance, five years of IT asset management experience, and proficiency in ServiceNow.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a High Public Trust clearance
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Asset Management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience using ServiceNow (SNOW) for IT Asset Management
  • Experience managing the complete IT asset lifecycle
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management
  • Experience performing physical inventories and inventory reconciliation
  • Knowledge of asset tagging and barcode systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational, time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Move computers, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment safely
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
  • Load and unload pallets, carts, and storage bins
  • Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment as required
  • Work in office, warehouse, and storage environments

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain or a related field
  • Experience supporting federal government or enterprise IT environments
  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM), Microsoft Intune, or JAMF
  • Experience shipping and receiving IT equipment
  • Experience supporting warehouse inventory operations
