Job Summary
Junior Investment Manager at Scalable Capital leads strategic enhancement of the Wealth product, collaborating with portfolio managers, ETP traders, and quantitative engineers to develop ETF-based wealth solutions. You will drive projects to improve Scalable Wealth, analyze large datasets for decision-relevant insights, backtest and implement changes to asset allocation, prepare data-driven presentations, participate in meetings with ETF issuers, and contribute as a knowledge center on capital markets topics. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, a passion for financial markets, proficiency in Excel/Sheets and SQL, and effective collaboration across an international, diverse team. The position offers international relocation support if needed and is based in Munich with in-person work. Learn and grow through in-house knowledge sharing, education budgets, and language classes in German.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant work experience from internships or full-time roles in Consulting, Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Business Development
- Strong passion for financial markets and exchange-traded products (ETPs)
- Ability to deliver with excellent analytical skills in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player with attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- First experience with data analysis and SQL
- Additional qualifications (e.g. CFA progression) considered a plus
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
