Junior International Tax Expert – Support to Geographies

Job Summary
Junior International Tax Expert — support across multiple geographies in tax compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, and advisory projects within Sanofi’s Global Tax team. You will partner with corporate and regional tax teams, assist with tax provisions, audits, cross-border analyses, and internal controls, while contributing to data analytics, dashboards, and process improvements. The role emphasizes collaboration, exposure to international jurisdictions, and development opportunities through the Tax Talent Pool Program. Requires 2+ years in corporate tax/public accounting/tax consulting with international exposure, strong Excel skills, English proficiency, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; French language ability and advanced degrees/CPA are preferred. Hybrid work arrangement in Budapest, Hungary with responsibilities spanning digital transformation, data visualization, and continuous improvement of tax systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, tax, economics, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or tax consulting with international tax exposure
- Good understanding of corporate tax principles, international tax concepts, and transfer pricing fundamentals
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with tax software and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- English proficiency required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Taxation, Law (LL.M.), or CPA certification
- Experience in data transformation and analysis with large datasets
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries
- Language proficiency in French
- Familiarity with BI tools and low-code development platforms
