Job Summary
As a Junior Ice Hockey Coach, you will be responsible for providing a fun, safe, and enjoyable learning environment for participants, ensuring adherence to safety policies, and promoting the ice hockey program positively. Essential functions include guest relations, housekeeping, maintaining communication with management, and implementing planned practices for children of varying abilities. Required qualifications include experience in ice hockey and specific training, along with skills to effectively relate to and discipline children, communicate in English, and maintain professionalism at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Trained in various ice hockey disciplines
- Experience in playing and/or coaching ice hockey
- Working knowledge of USA Ice Hockey Rules and Regulations
- Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs
- Good physical and mental health
- CPR/First Aid certification within first 90 days
- Completion of The Salvation Army’s Safe From Harm training course(s)
- Meeting all Health and Safety regulations
