Job Summary
Junior High Science teacher responsible for delivering engaging science instruction, developing and implementing creative lesson plans, and documenting student grades and evaluations. Focus on student success, safety and well-being, community connection, and stewardship of district resources. Maintain classroom standards and district policies, foster positive relationships with students, families, and the community, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A valid intern, provisional, or standard Arizona Teaching Certificate; or possess the necessary qualifications to become certified in the state of Arizona.
- Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
- May be required to lift and carry heavy, bulky supplies and materials weighing up to 20 pounds
- May be required to lift students weighing up to 60 pounds
- May be required to work outside normal working hours
- May be required to travel to perform work functions
