Junior High Teacher

Junior High Teacher responsible for 6th grade Math and Science instruction in a General Education setting. The role requires implementing an accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum (including Spalding for reading & writing and enVision Math), using direct instruction to engage students, identifying/modifying resources for diverse learners, assessing student needs, maintaining records, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and professionals. Collaboration with peers to enhance the instructional environment, meeting professional obligations (deadlines, schedules, meetings), facilitating student growth, and supporting school-wide values. Occasional travel between campuses is required, with activities including classroom management, promoting student achievement, participating in trainings and staff meetings, and contributing to a positive school culture.
