Job Summary
Plan and lead structured practice sessions, analyzing individual and team strengths to develop competition strategies. Provide real-time feedback during games, recruit new athletes, and mentor players to foster discipline, teamwork, and respect for the sport. Maintain accurate records, manage equipment and facilities, and ensure all students have equal participation opportunities. This role serves as a role model and educator within the school's athletic program, promoting a positive and competitive experience for student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Coaching permit for designated sport through Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board, or the ability to obtain one
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience playing or coaching the sport
